New member Paul Owen, in his first season fishing the fly, caught himself a perfect 6 pound grilse recently at the Braes – on a 9ft 6in trout rod! “It took a while but I finally got it in,” says Paul. “All the club members I’ve met have been really friendly, helpful and encouraging – Ally, Brian, Michael, Houston, Frank, Colin and many more.
